She's a beautiful and talented actress.

And Sophia Bush also has a pretty good arm which she exhibited by throwing the first pitch at the Dodgers game on Friday.

The 31-year-old lobbed the ball perfectly from the pitcher's mound as the Los Angeles team took on the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Celebrate: Sophia Bush was ecstatic after throwing the first pitch at the Dodgers game on Friday

Prior to throwing the ceremonial pitch, Sophia revealed she had practiced at home but was still very nervous.

'Throwing pretty well in my driveway vs. in front of 60-70,000 people...The panic might just shut me down completely,' she quipped.

But the Chicago PD star appeared very pleased with the results as she threw her arms in the air to celebrate after landing the ball right in the catcher's mit behind home plate.

She flashed a huge smile while decked out in the team jersey, black skinny jeans and a pair of high top sneakers.

And the highlighted brunette appears to have been a good luck charm as the Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks 4 -3.

After appearing for over a decade on One Tree Hill, Sophia is now busy with her NBC drama Chicago PD which was recently renewed for a second season.

Hidden talent: Sophia made it look so easy as she readied to lob the ball

The actress plays Erin Lindsay, a recovering drug addict who’s now a tough-as-nails detective in the series which is a spin-off of Chicago Fire.

In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, she said the role has been an eye-opening experience which has helped her learn more about herself.

'I’ve found a lot more space to embrace my own power as a woman through playing Erin, who is very still and quiet,' shared the actress.

And while she admits she can ' talk to a wall all day,' it's her character's silence that has been revelatory.

'People have always told me that I have a presence, but I never used to understand what that meant,' she said.

'Funnily enough, I’m learning about my presence as a human by playing a woman who is much more comfortable sitting silently in a room than I am.'

The new season of Chicago PD premieres September 24.
