She knows how to make a funky fashion statement.

But Anne Hathaway took things to another level on Saturday when she drowned her figure in a billowing denim jumpsuit.

 The 31-year-old actress also had her guitar in tow, stuffed in a blue and white striped bag while out in New York.

The Dark Knight Rises star shielded her eyes in round sunglasses that resembled goggles and finished off the look with brown sandals.

She was without her husband, Adam Shulman, whom she married in September 2012.

The couple have just re-listed their condo in the Dumbo neighbourhood of Brooklyn for $4.25 million nine months after failing to get $4.5 for the stunning open-plan two-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom property.

Anne can next be seen on the big screen in the adventure sci-fi film, Interstellar, which hits theatres November 7.

According to IMDB, ‘A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.’

The star-studded cast includes the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, and Ellen Burstyn.

Anne is also starring in the romantic comedy The Intern as the owner of a successful fashion website who bonds with her elderly intern, played by Robert De Niro.

The beautiful brunette has replaced Reese Witherspoon, who was originally cast in the role.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anders Holm -  who writes and produces Comedy Central’s Workaholics - recently landed the romantic male lead role.
