And Nicole Kidman certainly looked ready for the spotlight as she showed up to the venue in a resplendent gown that showcased her figure to perfection.
The 46-year-old actress was presented with the award by Hugh Grant and John Woo at the festival's opening ceremony on Saturday.

Nicole is promoting Grace Of Monaco at the film festival, where she is likely hoping it will be better received than in Cannes.

of Monaco (Tim Roth) in the film that opened the Cannes Film Festival
last month – the very place Kelly met her future husband in 1955.
The
Hollywood Reporter said of the film, amongst countless jeering critics:
‘Is it even possible to make a boring film out of this rich, juicy,
gossipy material?
‘It would seem so. Indeed, it is almost perversely impressive how (director) Dahan misses almost every target and squanders almost every opportunity.’

The
Shanghai International Film Festival’s opening ceremony was attended by
over 400 international and local film celebrities, including Kirsten
Dunst, Hayden Christensen, John Cusack, Li Bingbing, Jackie Chan, and
Rain.
The event, in its 17th year, has ‘made great a contribution to promote Sino-foreign
cultural exchanges and to enhance the influence of Chinese culture,
explore new forces, strengthen Shanghai’s “soft power” and promote
economic and social transformation and development,’ said Tian Jin,
deputy director of the Shanghai State Administration of Press,
Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
The festival, which is running from June 14 - June 22, opened with the restored classic Two Stage Sisters and will close with Transformers: Age of Extinction.
