Royal diet: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, appears to me looking to slim down even further

She's already renowned for her Size Six figure and snapped back into shape astonishingly quickly after giving birth to Prince George.

Now, I understand, the Duchess of Cambridge has adopted a rather more unusual diet which involves eating nothing but raw food.

Although Kate is already careful not to consume too many calories, she hopes her new regime will further improve her glowing complexion and help her keep her slender figure.

In particular, the 32-year-old  has developed a fondness for the popular Latin American dish ceviche – raw fish marinated  in the juice of lemons or limes and spices.

I understand that Kate plans to enjoy at least one day a week on nothing but raw food.

Among the other culinary delights currently on the Duchess’s menu are watermelon salads, gazpacho, goji berries, tabbouleh and almond milk.

A friend of the Duchess says: ‘Kate already has the perfect figure but her motivation is to achieve radiant skin.’

Health experts say that raw foods are excellent for the skin, hair and nails because they contain far higher levels of vitamins and nutrients than cooked food.

Following a healthy eating routine is beneficial for fertility too, prompting Royal observers  to wonder whether Kate will be again be sporting an altogether different kind of glow soon.

The Duchess modelled during her days at St Andrews University, when she was thought to be a healthy Size 10, but she slimmed down to a petite Size Eight when she moved to London and reportedly followed the protein-rich Dukan Diet with her mother Carole.

Now, she is believed to be a delicate  Size Six. She even managed to shed  her post-pregnancy weight a staggering five weeks after giving birth  last year.

The Duchess,  who was a keen sportswoman at school, excelling at hockey and netball, still works out on a regular basis, and there were once claims that she had taken exercise advice from London’s most in-demand personal trainer, Louise Parker.

Meanwhile, her sister Pippa, 30, and brother James, 27, have set out to prove their own athletic prowess, starting their 3,000-mile Race Across America cycling challenge yesterday – as we report on Page 15 today.

The siblings hope to complete the event in eight days, but they could be in the saddle for 12 days, which means there is a danger they will be absent for  an important family event later this month.

Their father Michael celebrates his milestone 65th birthday on June 23. As a family of party experts, they will no doubt make up for it when they reunite.

On fire: Cressida Bonas and Princess Eugenie leave the Chiltern Firehouse

If you were a newly single former Royal girlfriend undergoing a style makeover, where would you go to dazzle photographers and show your ex what he’s missing?

It has to be London’s hottest hangout, the  Chiltern Firehouse, of course.

Cressida Bonas, 24, who broke up with Prince Harry in April after a two-year romance, took her best friend Princess Eugenie to the A-list favourite on  Friday night– the pair are pictured leaving the venue.

Fellow diners at the Marylebone restaurant that night included stand-up comedian Michael McIntyre and model Oliver Cheshire.

Cressie looked gorgeous in a floaty beige dress, beach-chic wedges,  her trusty blue scrunchie and a  golden tan.

And if that doesn’t tempt Harry to rekindle their affair at the earliest opportunity, I don’t know  what will.

He may have sent his first tweet recently, but Prince Harry isn’t ready for his first Twitter selfie yet.

Although Harry was happy to pose with fellow redhead Ed Sheeran, he ordered the pop star not to post the snap so that it could be seen by Ed’s 9.6 million followers.

I’m told that the Prince has imposed the selfie ban on all his friends – the only images he shares are the select few he puts on the Facebook page he still operates with ultra-high privacy settings.

I'm sure they would write about it when she decides to support *gasp* a 5th charity!

She needs to forget any concerns about 'resculpting 'herself; she is too thin and needs to gain weight. Just concentrate on being a good wife, mother and ambassador for this country and worry less about appearances.

I hate when people are referred to as a 'pair' as if joined at the hip. It sounds so dismissive of them as individuals.

All the food in the world and she starves herself to fit some warped ideal. Boggles the mind.
