After more than 30-years together one would be hard pressed to find a Hollywood love story as enduring as that shared by Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

Stepping out on Tuesday, their latest joint appearance came in Greece, where they are currently enjoying a sunshine break on the suitably romantic isle of Skiathos.

The couple were side by side as they took a quiet stroll close to the public beach, with shirtless Kurt, 63, displaying a painfully red upper body above his baggy Bermuda shorts.

Goldie, 68, looked a little browner in her blue vest and red patterned sarong as she padded across the sand, her beach towel tucked beneath her right arm.

The acting couple had caught a healthy dose of Greek sun having previously rented a small boat for a jaunt across the Aegean.

Manning the wheel, former action hero Kurt wore a white cap as he navigated the shimmering waters while Goldie sat on the bow, admiring the view.

Kurt and Goldie caught each other's eye on the set of 1984 comedy Swing Shift and a romance was born.

The two have been together ever since and their love seems to be only growing.

Perhaps there really is an actual secret to a happy long-term relationship, which Goldie revealed during an interview on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.

'There's a trick,' she explained. 'You have to like the way each other smell. I think it's that the pheromones haven't gone away. The chemicals are still popping.'

And as for Kurt himself, Goldie could not have been more excited, gushing in the same interview: 'I think Kurt's an extraordinary person. I love being with him and I love our family and I love our family life.'

The pair have raised three children together - one they had together, Wyatt, and two – acting siblings Kate and Oliver - from Goldie's second marriage to Bill Hudson.

Funny how many red arrows people get for saying anything honest .. Kurt has a huge belly which is dangerous for men/heart attacks. And she is just turning into a mass of wrinkled skin cancer and hair. It isn't that they are aging, it is that they just look like a mess. People older than they are, look fabulous.

Ah leave them alone.....they're great together. I think it so cute that he has a gut and she's a bit saggy but they're still devoted. In fact, honouring the whole 'for better for worse' schtick than any married couple who actually took vows!
