Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino was seen sporting a painful-looking, bloodied black eye on Tuesday.

New details have emerged following the Jersey Shore star's arrest after an allegedly violent fight with his brother Frank at their own tanning salon business.

TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed by one of the brothers' customers, who allegedly fled the premises when Mike and Frank started punching each other.

During the call, the woman told police that she had run to the UPS Store next door and that she and a UPS employee could hear the siblings 'bouncing off the walls.'

Mike told police that the brawl started after he and his brother argued over how their sunbed business should be run, according to TMZ.

The reality star posted bail in the amount of $500 and was allowed to leave the police station in Middletown, New Jersey.

According to TMZ's law enforcement contacts, Sorrentino was arrested at Boca Tanning Salon in Middletown, New Jersey, for brawling.

Police got a 911 call reporting what was described as a 'fist fight' between two people but only Sorrentino was detained, later emerging with a rather painful-looking black eye.

TMZ are reporting that the fight was between Mike - who was pictured leaving Middletown township police department on Tuesday afternoon - and his brother Frank.

It's been a difficult time for the family business, as TMZ reported that employee pay checks bounced last week.

Sorrentino worked as an assistant manager of a fitness center in Staten Island before fame came calling.

When he was 25, he lost this job and began underwear modelling, which led to a role in the smash hit MTV show.

Marc also serves as The Situation's manager and partner in MPS Entertainment.

In 2012, Sorrentino revealed that he had checked himself into rehab for a month 'to get control of a prescription medication problem.'
