Not the practical type! Chrissy Teigen totters in heels and takes the plunge in flimsy blouse while walking her pet pooch

John Legend's wife is often seen out for a walk with her dogs.

On Wednesday, Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen, 28, was again spotted strolling down the street with her dog Pippa in New York City - this time in a pair of not-so-practical stilettos.

The 'mother' of-three-pups teetered around town in her black high heels while maintaining a firm grip on the leash of her cream-colored French Bulldog.

Teigen donned a white flimsy long-sleeve blouse and a pair of black-and-white high-waist herringbone-print trousers.

The pretty brunette wore a full face of makeup and sported a freshly blown-out hairstyle for the stylish excursion.

Pippa, who appeared to be pulling on her red-brown leash, attempted to go faster than her high-heeled mom was willing to go.

Teigen looked to be in good spirits, flashing smiles throughout the walk.

It's clear she loves playing mom to her three canines and is not yet ready to have children of her own.

Chrissy recently joked to People magazine, 'If dogs are the starters for babies, we should have three or four babies by now'.

She added: 'I like to think of ourselves as working on babies all the time. And working on getting dogs all the time'.

Two weeks ago the couple rescued a black French Bulldog in South Carolina.

The new member of the Legend clan, named Penny, was reportedly abused in the past and now has only three legs.

Chrissy posted a sweet photo of the pup to her Instagram, announcing the canine's name and called her their 'little tripod lovebug'.

I would imagine (based on her clothes and makeup) that she had somewhere else to go, but had to take the dog out before leaving the house.
