And on Saturday, 32-year-old singer Britney Spears proudly put her trim tummy on fully display in
a strapless handkerchief top that was reminiscent of her earlier outfits in her career.

A pair of matching Daisy Duke shorts provided passersby a full view of her equally toned pins while out and about in Calabasas.

The mother-of-two stayed cool with her blonde hair swept up in a messy bun, while keeping the accessories to a minimum with just a blue and silver bracelet.

An application of the singer's signature eyeliner highlighted her light eyes, while a slick of light pink lip gloss polished off the look.

The singer looked to be in remarkably good spirits as she stepped out in a pair of comfortable black flip flops.

Earlier that day, Britney happily showed off her enviably toned legs in hot pink shorts as she stepped out on Saturday morning.

The singer was joined by her mother Lynne and her boyfriend David Lucado for a casual lunch near her multimillion dollar mansion in Thousand Oaks, California.

Britney, 32, dressed down in a baggy grey sweater and cute sheepskin boots.

She tied her blonde hair into a casual, high ponytail with loose strands falling around her face. Dark make-up lined her eyes.

Walking alongside the twice married performer was her mother Lynne, 59, in khaki capri pants and a canary yellow vest.

Bringing up the rear was her boyfriend of more than a year David, who has been nicknamed Everyday Dave because of his ordinary background.

The mother-of-two is 18 months through a two-year run of her hit show Britney Spears: Piece of Me at the glitzy Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

According to the New York Daily News she has been offered a staggering $12 million to extend the run until Christmas 2016.

The paper quoted Gary Selesner, President of Caesars Entertainment, who said they hoped the show would go on.

'Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not.'

But there has been some criticism of the former teen idol's performance after it emerged she lip-synched her hits.

She was busted in February when her vocals started before she began to sing.

Wow. The ignorance is too real in some of these comments. She had thick legs, they were always like that, even in her 'hot' days, now she's not the hot girl she's getting called names for having thick legs by the same people who go in at size zero culture whe it's suits them. Her not trying to impress 'us' makes her 'trailor trash' the girl has acheived more than all of us have and if she wanted to be pretentious and always look flawless she could. Yeah she's not the same as she was because she had a massive public breakdown you'd think people would have respect for her for trying to get her life back together and not really milking it, I mean all you critiques would demand the respect but because everyone gets off on projecting she gets scrutinized by everyone instead and people complain about how society is bad. Anyway she looks good and she is just doing her thing in her time off like all of us try to do.
