Shop till you pop! Pregnant Stacy Keibler displays her growing baby bump in patterned maxi-dress as she steps out with a friend

She’s been endeavouring to stay in shape as she prepares for the birth of her first child, but cardio was brushed aside on Tuesday as pregnant Stacy Keibler stepped out for a spot of shopping followed by lunch in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old’s growing baby bump was evident beneath her generously cut maxi-dress during an afternoon of lunch and light conversation with a female friend at popular Beverly Hills restaurant Porta Via.

Stacy, a former WWE wrestler, matched her flowing patterned dress with a distinctive Panama hat and white sandals for her day out, and she was in high spirits as she made her way across the sidewalk.

The actress gave her ensemble a bohemian twist by sporting numerous bangles on her right wrist, while her left was decorated with a solid gold watch.

A smart leather handbag casually hung from her left hand as she ventured out, along with a shopping bag from a local boutique.

Arriving at Porta Via, Stacy enjoyed an impromptu chat with fellow diner and Hollywood stalwart Mel Brooks.

The legendary actor and director, 87, looked sprightly in a baseball cap and shades as he greeted the attractive female star.

At approximately six to seven months along, Stacy still has a little way to go before welcoming her first child - a daughter -  with husband Jared Pobre.

In the meantime, she enjoys regular Pilates classes - and her instructor has revealed just what their regimen entails.

Nonna Gleyzer, the founder of the Body By Nonna studio in West Hollywood, tells People: 'She wants to be as healthy and as strong as possible for her baby. The focus is on keeping her body strength and also keeping her body aligned.

'We didn't change much (about her pre-pregnancy routine),' she continues, explaining: 'We just do less repetitions and less moves on her back. We're keeping the muscles strong and long. And we do lower abs and deep breathing, which will help with the birth.'

He adds: 'Stacy eats clean, quality food. There is no garbage. She doesn't eat French fries or milkshakes. You can splurge but still make healthy choices!'
