British model Alexa Chung is bringing her signature style to the masses by designing a line of denim in collaboration with Adriano Goldschmied.

The 30-year-old, who is based in New York, will launch the 20-piece capsule collection in January of next year, with denim dresses, T-Shirts and jeans ranging in price between $70 and $300.

'The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe,' Miss Chung, who will also model the line for its print campaign, tells WWD. 'Which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic.'

Fans of Miss Chung, who boasts over 900,000 followers on Instagram, got their first hint of the collection earlier this month, when she posted a teasing photo to the social networking site in which she is gazing at design options for the line, captioned: 'It's all happening..... #design #collaboration #comingsoon.'

And just today, she posted a photo of a silver button from the collection bearing the words: 'Alexa Chung for AG,' centered around a flower logo.

But it's not only her name - and her face - she is bringing to the project.

Decisions, decisions: Earlier this month, she shared this snap of herself scanning design options, with the caption, 'It's all happening..... #design #collaboration #comingsoon.'

Miss Chung has been sketching her own designs, exchanging mood boards and inspirational materials with the brand's creative director, Sam Ku, and took a recent visit to AG's head office in California.

'I found the trip incredibly inspiring and an opportunity to learn about denim and make things I had been dreaming about finding,' she said.

Pieces that will feature include what Miss Chung describes as 'skater-girl shorts,' the 'NYC' and the 'Vivienne 'punk' jean, and the 'perfect, perfect HotPants,' which she says are 'higher-waisted than your classic and made to not show any bum.'

Mr Ku, who spent an entire day with Miss Chung treasure hunting in vintage stores around Southern California, said: 'A lot of the ideas in the collection are items that she wants or her friends want, but they can’t buy right now.'

This will not be Miss Chung's first fashion collaboration. In 2011, she partnered with Madewell to create a line which included dresses, printed pajama pants, leopard booties and a floral blouse.

She is a regular guest on the front row of high-profile fashion shows from Chanel to Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler. And last year, Miss Chung released her own style book, entitled 'It', which featured her fashion inspirations, beauty tips and a handful of personal anecdotes.

Miss Chung, a long-time established public figure in her native UK, first rose to fame in the U.S. in 2009, when she appeared in her own MTV show, It's on with Alexa Chung.

She has recently been a fixture of heated speculation in regards to her rumored romantic relationship with Coldplay front man Chris Martin, although both have publicly denied they are dating.

The denim shift with three quarter sleeves might work on a number of body types, depending on how it was accessorized, but the rest of items are either asinine or boring and far from original. The bib overalls? Please, they've gone in and out of fashion as a fad item, for 40 years. The denim jumpsuit -- Not flattering at all. The slightly over sized, longer denim shirt jacket pair with Daisy Duke short-shorts? That's been done to death and worn by women with far, far better legs that Alexa. Great skin, lovely eyes, but her rail thin, shapeless, boney legs are not attractive.

trouble is not many UK or US women will fit into those tiny clothes because they are obesity type people over here and there. Not being nasty or nothing but thats how it is. on my estate theres only 1 lady who isn't overweight and shes not the most blessed in the facial department which is a shame.
