More »SO GRAD YOU MADE IT: More now on news Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rodgers will be presented with an honorary degree today for his outstanding contribution to sport. The Northern Irishman, who guided the Reds to second place in the Premier League in his second season in charge at Anfield, will be awarded an honorary degree by the University of Ulster this afternoon.Rodgers, who will be made a Doctor of Science (DSc), is among 13 "inspirational" people set to receive awards at the ceremony in Coleraine, County Londonderry.They include record-breaking jump jockey AP McCoy and Irish rugby player Tommy Bowe.
