Will Ferrell shows his flair for physical comedy amidst high-tech explosions while filming hilarious scene for Get Hard
Will Ferrell is famous for his silly pratfalls in such films as Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy and The Other Guys.
The 46-year-old funny man put that unique talent to good use once again as he shot a very active sequence for his new movie Get Hard on Tuesday before dawn.
A broad green field in Los Angeles provided the set and what an obstacle course it was as cameras captured Will running, jumping and leaping as mayhem exploded all around him.

High-tech wizardry, of course, provided the exploding 'land mines' that spewed fire seemingly aimed at Ferrell as cast and crew worked together.
Lawn blowers sent sprays of grass and other debris his way.
The actor made funny faces and gestured wildly with his arms as he busted loose and pretended to narrowly miss the fire bombs.

Hot to trot: Will plays a millionaire bound for prison who hires a pal (Kevin Hart) to help him 'get hard' before he faces life behind bars
Rise and shine: Will shot the action-packed sequence during the early morning hours on Tuesday when it was still dark
In the movie, Ferrell plays millionaire James King whose business shenanigans result in a fraud conviction and a sentence at San Quentin.
Before King goes to prison, he turns to car wash owner Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart) to help him 'get hard' for life behind bars.
Alison Brie, who is best known for her roles in Community and Mad Men, co-stars as Ferrell's fiancée.
Jailbird attire: The comedic actor was outfitted in a blue shirt and track trousers that read CDC Prisoner
Where there's smoke: Will avoided 'land mines' and debris kicked up by a lawn blower
Get ready: Get Hard also stars Alison Brie as Will's fiancée and bows in US theatres on March 27
Although the film initially wrapped in mid-May, Will and crew were brought back together to shoot this new exciting scene.
Etan Cohen, who is directing the movie based on his script, must have been glad to see his old cronies once again.
The director tweeted on May 14 how he was going to miss everybody.
'Day 44: our last day of shooting #GetHard,' Cohen wrote, adding: 'Excited but bittersweet to say good bye to so many great talented people.'
