It's been a crazy ride! Sharon Osbourne celebrates 32 years of marriage with rocker Ozzy with a touching wedding shot

It has hardly been smooth sailing for Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

The rock and roll power couple have somehow made it through more than their fair share of tough times to celebrate 32 years of marriage.

While the rest of America was marking Independence Day, for the talk show host and her rocker husband July 4 is actually the date of their dependence day.

To recognise the milestone, Sharon posted an private wedding photograph on Instagram taken just after they said 'I do' in Maui, Hawaii, in 1982.

In the image, the 61-year-old host stares up adoringly at her almost unrecognisable husband.

While in Hawaii, Sharon did not dress for a beach wedding but instead donned a high neck traditional lace wedding dress.

Despite being called the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy meanwhile was dressed in an all-white suit, including a bowtie, and also wore a traditional lay around his neck.

While the now 65-year-old is known for his long black hair, for his wedding his hair was blond, long and full of volume.

Since they walked down the aisle, the couple have hardly had it easy with the start of their marriage marred by substance abuse and violence.

In 1989, the former Black Sabbath star was arrested for attempted murder for trying to kill Sharon while drunk and high.

He would spend three months in rehab but Sharon would eventually forgive them.

Last year, the pair almost called it quits on their union when Ozzy relapsed.

The outspoken star discovered that Ozzy was back off the wagon as the couple celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.

Writing in her autobiography Unbreakable, she said: ‘I would never have imagined our anniversary would be the start of one of the worst periods in our marriage.’ 

She explained that she went through his texts and discovered that Ozzy had been taking prescription drugs for a year-and-a-half.

After Ozzy since again committed to sobriety, Sharon once again committed to him.

The couple share three children Aimee, 30, who has shunned public life unlike her younger sister Kelly, 29, and brother Jack, 28.

The family became a pop culture phenomenon when they starred - except for Aimee - in their own reality show The Osbournes.

Sharon's father was one of the largest record producers in the U.K. (look it up). He didn't like Ozzy. Sharon knew he was a mega star and became his manager and promoter DESPITE her father's wishes and without his money . Both Ozzy and Sharon are extremely brilliant and it shows not only in how successful they are but how relevant they remain despite being well into their 60's. Ozzy knew who he was marrying (someone with intimate knowledge from the inside of the music industry) as did she .... A RIGHT LEGEND.

Don Arden was a thug who terrorised and threatened his acts whilst Ozzy was married with 2 children until Sharon arrived and broke them up. So yeah nice family.
