They locked eyes in May during the White House Correspondents' Association dinner in Washington DC, but she had yet to break things off with her fiancé Nick Loeb.

Flash forward two months and Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are now dating, a source told UsWeekly on Monday. The actors have even been spotted 'kissing' in New Orleans, where the 41-year-old Colombian sactress is making Don't Mess With Texas alongside Reese Witherspoon.

'It's very, very new,' one insider revealed. 'They're having fun and getting to know each other.'

The relationship is so serious already, 37-year-old Manganiello even visited Vergara over the 4th of July weekend.

That's where they were spotted, at Louisiana's Li'l Dizzy's Cafe on Sunday, getting affectionate. 'They were very friendly and took pictures with other diners,' the eyewitness told the site. They 'shared a table with some regular patrons since the restaurant was so crowded.'

During the meal, 'they held each other and kissed several times.'

The swarthy looker admitted just last week that he had a crush on the Modern Family actress, who also happens to be the highest paid female on TV.

'She’s got that Latin thing going. She’s got the butt, she’s got curves, she’s got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous and she’s feisty,' he gushed.

The Pennsylvania native split from his longtime girlfriend, photographer Bridget Peters, in January. Before that he was engaged to blonde Audra Marie.

'Sofia is Joe's dream girl!' another source told the site. 'He's been smitten with her for years. He's always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far.'

The brunette beauty - who recently starred as a lesbian with Sharon Stone in Fading Gigolo - didn't know of his feelings for her. 'Sofia had no idea that he had been crushing on her for a while,' an insider added.

Vergara - who briefly dated Tom Cruise in 2005 - broke up with Loeb in late July after having been together since 2010.

She announced via Twitter and WhoSay that they had split, telling followers, 'We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, it's been getting worse and worse.

Joe will next film the drama Stano in which he has the starring role.
