Floyd Mayweather confirms he will fight Marcos Maidana again in September

By Martin Domin

Floyd Mayweather Jnr is set to face Marcos Maidana for a second time when he returns to the ring this autumn.

The pound-for-pound No 1 was given a tough test when the pair met at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in May, before winning on points.

And Mayweather confirmed they will meet again on September 13.

He's "ducking" Khan? If he picked ANY OTHER opponent who had been stopped TWICE people would be outraged. Yet when it's Khan he's scared! Unbelievable. Mayweather is ever so slightly on th slide yet he'd beat Khan with his eyes shut.

The hate for Mayweather as a boxer is so pitiful. If you hate his manner outside the ring fine but in the ring he dominates and has beaten all his opponents. I never believed in the term 'haters' until I read the countless negative comments about Mayweather on numerous articles. Each time a new guy is propped up as the guy who will beat him but it never happens, his most talented opponent was Alvarez and he got outclassed. Everyone thought Mayweather would lose and after that they said Khan lol, give me a break. As for Pacquiao he doesn't have to fight him, his legacy doesn't need him. Its actually Pacquiao, who needs Mayweather for his own legacy considering the quality of his last six fights. And the sad part is if Mayweather beats Pacquiao people will just say he waited too long and Pacquiao is not the same fighter. Truth is both fighters and their camps messed up in not making the fight happen, yet idiots want to say Mayweather is scared.

In my opinion Kell brook is one of the best British fighters of our generation and Amir khan has been ducking him for years despite Brooks camp offering him MILLIONS for the fight

Just imagine if Maidana connects and KOs Mayweather, stranger things have happened, very unlikely though.

How can you put manny's name in the same sentence as Khan. Kell Brook is the best British fighter in khans division and he has been ducking brook for ages

Their last fight was actually quite a decent match up to be fair to him, I would normally say I don't want to see a rematch with any of Floyd's fights, but he was tested and Maidana did deserve the rematch to be fair
