Ruby Rose and fiancée Phoebe Dahl have made no secret that they are real animal lovers, regularly taking to Instagram with cute snaps of their pet pig Hazel and dog Ru.

But it looks like fashion designer Phoebe has taken her dedication for her pets to the next level, after Ruby discovered a deceased creatures heart hidden by her fiancée on their property.

Ruby, 28, took to her Instagram account on Wednesday with a photo of a jar containing an animal’s heart, revealing she had made the discovery while doing some washing at their LA home.

‘While doing the washing up I found where @faircloth_supply hides her freaky animal hearts... and I burried another poor soul!!! I swear to god I want bad juju gone and these fellas to RIP,’ she wrote.

Ruby didn’t seem too impressed with Phoebe’s bizarre keepsake, adding: ‘#shewasperfectuntil.’

And there is no doubt that the couple will be having a discussion about Ruby’s findings, as she also wrote: ‘#willstillmarryherbutneedtotalk.’

The couple announced their engagement on social media in March and have continuously posted PDA-filled photographs and messages since.

And Ruby also has some bizarre keepsakes, including wearing a vial of Phoebe’s blood around her neck.

Back in March she showed off the vial on Instagram, explaining: ‘Nothing quite says love like a vial of her blood.. it pumps through her heart keeping every fibre of her being alive on this magical earth.

I'm going to make it into a necklace. So she's always living in, on and around me. @faircloth_clothing.’
