About

The Author

My name is Robert Smith and I’m a software engineer currently residing in the Greater Boston area. I am passionate about mathematics, mathematical exposition, and programming.

If you’re interested in contacting me, please visit the Contact page.

The Blog

I created this blog in order to have an outlet for my writings, and have a central place to collect information I want to share. Other people have expressed interest in me having a blog, but I have mostly resisted due to my distaste for “Web 2.0″.

The blog will primarily be about programming and mathematics, perhaps with the injection of my own opinions.

Guest Authors

Several guests have been invited to write with my permission, and their posts are filed under their own names. Although I review their posts prior to publishing, I do not necessarily endorse nor agree with their views, and am in no way responsible for their content.

However, guest authors write here usually because they have an interesting thing to say about their field of expertise, something about which I am unable to confidently write. Often their views will be enlightening or resourceful.

If you are interested in writing a post, please contact me. I am enthusiastic about others’ technical field of expertise and dispersing their knowledge with the world.
