Hildegard xứ Bingen (tiếng Đức: Hildegard von Bingen; tiếng Latinh: Hildegardis Bingensis) (1098-1179) là thầy thuốc, tu sĩ, nhà soạn nhạc người Đức. Bà là một trong những người phụ nữ thời Trung Cổ chuyên về cây thuốc. Bà là một trong số ít những người phụ nữ nổi bật trong âm nhạc cổ điển (ngoài ra còn có thể kể đến Clara Schumann, nhà soạn nhạc, nghệ sĩ đàn piano người Đức, vợ của Robert Schumann, hay có thể kể đến Fanny Mendelssohn, thần đồng âm nhạc, cũng là người Đức, chị gái của Felix Mendelssohn). Quả thực bà là người đa tài, bà một trong những người phụ nữ xuất sắc hiếm hoi trong thời kỳ Trung cổ, thời kỳ mà sự trọng nam khinh nữ đã ăn sâu vào tiềm thức mỗi con người thời đó[1][2].
