Lights ready... action now!

Senior Malayalam film directors are getting ready to stage a comeback in 2004. One of them is Joshi who has signed up Dileep for his new venture "Runway." With the film, Joshi will be back after a long break.

His "Praja" with Mohanlal in the lead role did not make much of an impact at the box-office. Taking a cue from the failure, he has teamed up with Mr. Dileep who continues to carry the tag of a "guarantee actor."

Joshi's new film is expected to have all the ingredients needed for a box office success. The script is by Sibi. K. Thomas and Udaykrishna and provides a lot of action for the hero. Mr. Dileep has adopted a style different from his usual ones for the film and sports a flashy hairstyle. Kavya Madhavan and Indrajith keep him company. Incidentally, Mr. Joshi was responsible for giving Mr. Dileep a major role in "Sainyam" years back. Vikram, the hottest star now in Kollywood was also part of Mr. Joshi's "Sainyam".

This was a story written with an Indian Air Force background. Mr. Dileep made an impact with comic scenes in it. But in "Runway" he will be far more serious as Mr. Joshi teams up with him to open the New Year account.
