Wearing little else but a skimpy raincoat and knee high boots, Pamela Anderson doesn't exactly look like your typical art collector.

But the woman most famous for donning a red swimsuit in Baywatch is fast developing a reputation as a keen-eyed connoisseur of contemporary works.

And on Saturday night she stole the show when she swung by an LA gallery to peruse a new exhibition.

Pamela, who this week announced she was divorcing husband Rick Salomon for the second time, attended the Joe Goode 'Flat Screen Nature' at the Kohn Gallery alone.

There was no sign of Chuck Zito, another of her ex lovers, who she was pictured with getting up close and personal in the back of a cab on Friday night.

But dressed in this ensemble of a short beige mac, cinched in at the waist and black stiletto boots, she wont be alone for long.

It appeared she had little else on underneath the cute coat.

The 47 year-old appears to be growing out her blonde pixie crop which now reaches just below her collar.

With a black clutch in her hand she studied the pieces intently with her heavily made up eyes.

Over the last decade, Pamela has become regarded in the art world as a small scale collector with an eye for modern works.

The former Playboy model was clearly in reflective mood this week.

She penned an epic 1,200 word poem lamenting the lost art of sex five days after filing for divorce which she posted on her Facebook page.

'I love being in love – but expectations, make it impossible to be happy – or satisfied,' she wrote.

'No man knows what to do with me – I blame myself.'

Moving forward: Pamela Anderson was spotted having an intimate moment with her ex-boyfriend Chuck Zito on Friday evening

According to People Magazine, Pamela cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending her marriage to Salomon, according to papers which filed earlier this month.

The former couple got back together in October last year and married for the second time in January.

At the time she told E!: 'We're very happy.'

I think. She would look soup erra if she darkened her hair slightly. The platinum colour can look cheap sometimes and just a little darker she would look fabulous.
