MATLAB and Simulink Workshops at RoboCup 2013
MathWorks will offer daily workshops at the RoboCup Eindhoven event. The workshops, which will take place in our special workshop area, are offered free of change and are open to everyone until capacity is reached.
Workshop: How Do Robots Work?
Time: Daily from June 26 – 30, 2013; 09:00 - 10:00
This one-hour introductory session targeted at students older than 14 and their parents, is presented by an engineer from MathWorks, the developers of MATLAB and Simulink. The presentation shows how software plays a fundamental role in making robots work. The session also demonstrates how to use MATLAB and Simulink to program robots.

Workshop: First Steps in Robotics: LEGO MINDSTORMS Workshop
Time: Daily from June 26 – 30, 2013; 10:30 - 12:00
This session is an introductory workshop targeted at students up to age 17. During the session you'll learn to easily and quickly program a LEGO MINDSTORMS robot with MATLAB and Simulink software.
Capacity: 20 people
Workshop: Teach the Teachers: Hands-On LEGO MINDSTORMS Workshop
Time: Daily from June 26 – 30, 2013; 13:00 - 15:00
This two-hour session is targeted at teachers and instructors who wish to use hardware with their teaching. This hands-on workshop will be conducted by MathWorks technical staff, and will show you how to connect LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT kits to MATLAB and Simulink software, for the purpose of teaching teenagers in applied sciences schools.
