Entourage star Adrian Grenier posts sexy picture of Kim Kardashian to illustrate 'social inequality' on Instagram

By Daily Mail Reporter

She is one of the unofficial queens of Instagram, regularly posting selfies that are 'liked' by millions.

So therefore actor Adrian Grenier felt that Kim Kardashian would be the perfect example to use in publicising an article on how photo-sharing app influences society's perception of class structure.

On Wednesday, the Entourage star posted a picture of Kim next to a painting by Spanish artist Leonardo Alena titled Maja Dormida from the 19th century, asking his followers to read an article titled Ways Of Seeing.

Adrian claims the article reflects on how Instagram 'confirms class structure and distracts us from our true goals of equality and spiritual alignment with the true political needs of justice, free from the oppression of capitalism.'

The picture of Kim was first posted on Instagram by the reality star herself back in February for a Throwback Thursday posting.

The article itself questions how images function in society, comparing photo-sharing on Instagram to classic art history.

Speaking out: Adrian claims the article reflects on how Instagram 'confirms class structure and distracts us from our true goals of equality and spiritual alignment with the true political needs of justice, free from the oppression of capitalism.'

Interestingly, the article includes a snipped from John Berger's work theory Ways Of Seeing, that says: 'Glamour cannot exist without personal social envy being a common and widespread emotion.'

'The industrial society which has moved towards democracy and then stopped half way is the ideal society for generating such an emotion.'

It will certainly give Kim a lot to think about for her next blog post.

What will Kim say? It will certainly give the Kardashian a lot to think about for her next blog post

I question his motives, but he is absolutely right. Most humans and the general public at large are easily led away from doing anything good in this world by the media which manipulates them with tripe, like the Daily Mail does. The Daily Mail and the Kardashians are a large part of what is wrong with the world.

Pseudo-intellectual dipstick with too much time on his hands....... I'll believe he really feels "oppressed by capitalism" when he gives away all his money......

Think I have a copy of 'Ways of Seeing' that might actually be as old as Kim, will dust it off and send it to her.

I think they somehow pay Instagram to rack up "fake" likes, so she seems more popular than she actually is
