Still making her smile! Comedian Ricky Gervais and partner of 32 years Jane Fallon giggle together on lunch date

By Alexa Rae Johnson and Cassie Carpenter

Ricky Gervais has been with his girlfriend Jane Fallon since 1982.

And 32 years later, the 53-year-old English comedian and actor appears to still be very much in love.

The co-producer and star of the UK version of The Office enjoyed a romantic stroll after lunch with his longtime partner on Thursday, where the pair were seen smiling and laughing as they walked side-by-side.

The Golden Globe winner was dressed for their casual lunch date in a black V-neck T-shirt, denim jeans, brown loafers, and sunglasses.

His girlfriend, a novelist, wore a pink T-shirt with the Batman emblem across the front with a pair of cuffed blue jeans and bright pink trainers.

The blonde tied her hair back in a casual ponytail, kept her eyes shielded from the sun with a pair of dark sunglasses, and wore a tan handbag across her torso.

During their walk, the couple stopped for a bite to eat, at which point Ricky tucked into a serving of french fries with ketchup.

Their date comes one day after they were spotted arriving together to the Rockefeller Center in New York for Ricky's appearance on The Today Show.

While Ricky and his lady love never married or had kids ('There are too many children, of course'), they do share a Persian cat they call Ollie.

Ricky was recently nominated for Best Lead Actor In A Comedy for his role in mockumentary, Derek.

The second season, now streaming on Netflix in the States, has Ricky reprising his role as retirement home employee Derek Noakes.

Many critics have accused Ricky of poking fun at autism on the Channel 4 programme, but he's insisted that childlike Derek has no 'specific and defined disability.'

The Reading-born star, who recently appeared in The Muppets Most Wanted, has several other projects lined up, including providing the voice of Mole in a new Wind In The Willows adaptation.

Ricky will next reprise his role as Dr. McPhee in Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb - due out December 19 - alongside Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, and Mickey Rooney in his final screen role.

New York residents: On Wednesday night the novelist shared this photo in response to Ricky's tweet, 'If [Jane] wants to watch Big Brother, she can f***ing watch it outside'

Mr. Gervais & Ms. Fallon's cat, Ollie, is a Siamese not at Persian. Ollie will rip your face off if you call her a Persian cat.

You are showing your background by saying he is vulgar & has no class & was born on a council estate. Those of us with breeding wouldn't dream of making such remarks. And he is extremely funny.
