She’s won praise for her latest movie role, but actress Kate Hudson received plaudits for an altogether different reason on Monday morning.

The 35-year-old daughter of Hollywood star Goldie Hawn is currently in New York City, where she’s furiously promoting Wish You Were Here – the eagerly anticipated ‘thematic’ sequel to Zach Braff’s 2004 sleeper hit Garden State.

But exiting her hotel ahead of an appearance on popular American talk show The View it was her nicely toned legs that dominated as she made her way towards a waiting car.

The blonde actress had opted for a sleeveless playsuit with a simple black and white design for her latest public appearance, and its thigh length cut gave her an opportunity to show off a healthy frame.

Kate rounded the look off with a pair of neon pink stiletto heels, while her hair mirrored the effortless nature of her ensemble by remaining simply styled in a centre parting that allowed her locks to fall in two loose curtains across her shoulders.

The pretty actress takes a starring role in former Scrubs star Braff’s new film, which he part-funded with $5 million raised through crowd-sourcing website Kickstarter following an earnest appeal to fans in 2013.

In the family drama, she plays Sarah, the wife of Aidan Bloom, played by Braff, who is a 35-year-old man finding himself at major crossroads in his life, trying to balance career and family.

The film also features appearances from The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons, Ashley Greene and Braff’s close friend Donald Faison, his Scrubs co-star.

Despite being in great shape, Kate revealed she is finding it harder to stay trim, saying: 'I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted when I was younger, and then as I got older I saw that if I ate whatever I wanted, I wasn’t very healthy.

‘My mom was very much into telling me that I have to eat healthy and that I’m eating too many cheeseburgers.'

The actress is a parent to two sons – Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson and Bingham with fiancé Matt Bellamy, lead vocalist with British rock band Muse.

Speaking to Expose Entertainment, she recently admitted that she cherishes every moment she has at home with her sons.

Asked what her biggest luxury was, Kate replied: 'Time at home to be with my kids. I travel so much that that's a big one.

'And when I am at home, time to sit alone with myself for a few minutes, just be quiet and refocus my energies. That's very important to me.'

This is nothing but a Goldy Hawn Hollywood trajectory repeated. All huge grin and legs legs legs everywhere all through that career made of bad to mediocre movies and bare minimum of talent and charisma to get her by.
