By Daily Mail Reporter

He just got back from Comic-con in San Diego where he promoted upcoming action flick Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

And Ben Affleck appeared to have worked up quite an appetite as he headed out to grab a bite to eat at The Hungry Cat restaurant in Santa Monica on Sunday evening.

After dining at the seafood eatery the 41-year-old looked tired and ready to take a nap as he was seen heading home in his much-loved cherry red '66 Chevy Chevelle SS.

Clad in a laid-back ensemble of grey T-shirt and jeans, the handsome star looked ready to rest  and sported a touch of stubble on his face.

After retrieving his car from the valet, he jumped in the front seat grinning broadly and made off into the night. Not seen with the actor was wife Jennifer Garner, 42, and their three children.

Ben is currently in the middle of filming the caped crusader movie with much of the production taking place in Detroit, Michigan.

According to Latino Review, the film is speculatively called 'The Batman' and is being planned for four years' time because of Ben's busy schedule.
