Leather in this weather? Jessie J sports a pair of patent dungarees while battling the sun in oversized shades

She's known for showing off her athletic physique in barely-there stage ensembles.

But Jessie J proved she's an any-weather dresser when she covered up in London temperatures just shy of 30-degrees on Wednesday afternoon wearing sweltering leather dungarees.

Looking tall and slender, the popstar managed to pull off the patent look with ease, layering it over a plain white T-shirt and proving she was more than ready for the summer sunshine as she made a circuit between radio stations promoting her new single in oversized sunglasses by Quay Australia.

The Do It Like A Dude singer added some feminine touches to her edgy ensemble, wearing her trademark 'Jessie J' necklace around her neck and choosing to carry a pop of pink with a contrast tote by her side.

She also glossed on a deep purple lip colour for a sexy spin on her daytime outfit.

Earlier this year, the star that she would be changing over to Tinie Tempah's music label Disturbing London Management, a business that Tinie set up back in 2006 with his cousin Dumi Oburota. 

Now, the 26-year-old is celebrating an exciting collaboration with Nicki Minaj and girl-of-the-moment Ariana Grande with new single Bang, Bang, due for release at the end of the month.

Having finally pinned down the US rap star, Jessie J is set for further success in America following Domino's number 6 US chart ranking in 2011.

The popstar has also just been announced as a performer for the hotly anticipated iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas joining international stars Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea and One Direction on this year's line up.

Keeping herself busy, Jessie J is currently on tour, with the USA, South Africa and Switzerland still to cover before the end of the summer.

Her packed show schedule has brought her back to the UK in recent weeks where she's enjoyed an initimate gig for Girl Effect in Shoreditch, which saw her steal the show in a pair of leather dunagree shorts set this time, which complemented her slender frame.

The singer also experienced a 'dream come true' when she was joined on stage by Smokey Robinson during some special performances at Edinburgh Castle.
