Pretty Little… Designer! Lucy Hale collaborates with Hollister to design her first clothing line

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale has teamed with Hollister to design her first clothing line.

The 25-year-old actress is the first celebrity to collaborate with the brand, and will launch two new collections inspired by her Southern California lifestyle.

The first, hitting stores August 8, will include pieces created for layering, and the second, out August 29, will feature soft, beachy separates.

Prices for the dresses, leggings, skirts and tops will range from $19.95 to $44.95.

'I definitely lean more towards a laid-back look, which makes my style a great match for Hollister,' Miss Hale told WWD. 'I wanted to create carefree outfits that effortlessly transition from a coffee run to going out.'

Michael Scheiner, senior director of marketing and public relations for Abercrombie & Fitch, which owns Hollister, said that Miss Hale’s 'easygoing personality goes hand in hand with our Hollister lifestyle.'

Indeed, Miss Hale, who is often spotted in playful dresses and comfortable T-shirts while out and about in Los Angeles, told Seventeen that the line reflects her own personal style.

'With lots to do for PLL, my music, and now my fashion collection for Hollister, I need transitional pieces that keep up with my schedule,' she said.

She added: 'Pieces that are carefree and effortless without ever looking less than fabulous. This collection is perfect for taking you from a morning coffee to a dinner with friends.'

In addition to playing Aria Montgomery on the ABC Family hit Pretty Little Liars, Miss Hale released a country album, Road Between, June 3.

She's scheduled to celebrate the new collections with a performance at Hollister House in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday.

Miss Hale isn't the only Pretty Little Liars star to endorse a fashion brand. Her costar Ashley Benson is the new face of H&M's Divided line.
