Gisele Bundchen proved her Earth Mother tag not only relates to her children but also to animals
as she got up close and personal with some four-legged friends on Thursday.

Continuing her picture-perfect family vacation in Costa Rica, the supermodel shared two photos
with fans as she spent time getting to know some of the local wildlife.

And we're not talking about simply riding horses, but rather bathing with them in the cool, refreshing water during a breathtakingly beautiful experience.

The 34-yar-old stripped down to a black and white patterned bikini as she took a dam, or mother horse, for a swim with her foal.

'Baby horse and his mommy,' she captioned a photo in which the two horses are standing face to face, with Gisele to the adult's side, gently stroking its face as she gazes adoringly at the creature.

Her body is only visible from the shoulders up, while her wet hair is slicked back from her face, which is make-up-free and sporting a gorgeous natural sun-kissed glow.

The two horses have beautiful coats of brown and white, which large distinctive splotches covering their bodies.

A second shot, taken from behind, sees the mom-of-two walking along hand-in-hand with her oldest child, son Benjamin.

The four-and-a-half-year-old uses his spare hand to hold onto the reins of another all-brown full-grown horse, who is being followed closely by her infant, who is a near-matching soft chestnut.

'Having fun with my little guy,' she wrote in accompaniment of the photo.

The youngster holds the rope casually over his shoulder as he walks along the dirt track, which sits under a canopy of lush green trees.

He stands out in his bright turquoise board shorts and a yellow T-shirt, paired with black sandals.

His doting mom is dressed in a loose, flowy lilac kaftan with black trim and embroidered detail, teamed with flip flops.

While Gisele's husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, doesn't appear to have joined his family on their tropical vacation, the Brazilian beauty had plenty of help taking care of their son, as well as 19-month-old daughter Vivian.

Her own mom, Vania, was seen taking plenty of photos on her camera as the trio frolicked on the beach on Sunday, joined by a number of other friends and family members.

Even the family's beloved dog Lua got in on the action, having a ball splashing in the waves as she stood guard ensuring the little ones were safe.
