McKee at the double for Morton
Morton booked their place in the second round of the Scottish Communities League Cup with a 2-1 win at home to 10-man Berwick.
Midfielder Joe McKee opened the scoring with a powerful 20-yard strike which flew into the top corner.
Lee Currie levelled matters from the penalty spot after Stefan McCluskey was adjudged to have handled inside the area.
Berwick found themselves behind just a minute later as McKee got his second of the afternoon straight from the restart as he slotted home Thomas O'Ware's pass.
And they were reduced to 10 men deep into the second half after a reckless lunge from Paul Currie resulted in a straight red card.
