Kate Mara has officially wrapped filming highly anticipated superhero film The Fantastic Four.

The youthful 31-year-old shared a photo with her cast mates on Saturday after they had finished filming the last scenes for their sci-fi action movie.

In the reboot of the 2005 production, Mara plays Sue Storm or The Invisible Woman, formerly portrayed by Jessica Alba.

For the picture, the four actors - Mara, Miles Teller, 27, Michael B. Jordan, 27, and Jamie Bell, 28 - pose together on the sidewalk in front of an Italian restaurant.

The group make up the film's four heroes, described as 'four astronauts who gain superpowers after cosmic radiation exposure'.

‘I like things that are rooted in reality and that are dark and not what you expect. And I think that that’s probably what Fantastic Four will be', the starlet said of the upcoming flick.

The film, based on the Marvel comic, is due for release on June 19, 2015 and will include a sequel, which will debut in 2017.

The strawberry blonde actress also recently finished filming Captive, a crime drama about a single mom and meth addict who is held hostage in her own home by an escaped convict.

The thriller, based on real events, will also star David Oyelowo, Mimi Rodgers, Michael K. Williams, and Leonor Varela.
