But a new light has been shed on Orlando Bloom's furious altercation with Justin Bieber, amid claims the singer boasted the actor's estranged wife Miranda Kerr had vowed to 'make him a man'.

The incident occurred during a night out at White Isle eatery Cipriani on Wednesday evening, with Bloom said to have seen red over the 20-year-old pop star's comments, relating to the 2012 Victoria's Secret show, where the pair posed for a flirty photograph.

According to the Sunday People newspaper, Bieber told Bloom: 'Miranda told me, "I want to make a man out of you."'

A source added: 'At the time of the split it was certainly one of the motivations. He was, and still is, very cross about all of this.

'He can’t believe that someone he regards as a silly little boy has had this impact on his relationship. He is absolutely fuming.'

The latest update comes amid claims that Justin continued his feud with the 37-year-old actor on Friday night, by banning him entry to the star-studded 40th birthday bash for Givenchy fashion designer Riccardo Tisci.

E! News reports that the pop star continued to contact Miranda after their now infamous night at the 2012 Victoria Secret show, despite her still being married to Orlando at the time.

The then 18-year-old Baby singer did not seem concerned about contacting the Australian stunner who was not only more than a decade his senior.

A source tells E! that after they met in November and partied following their appearance on the show - Miranda on the catwalk and Justin performing Beauty And The Beat - the pop star could clearly not get the model out of his head.

The source said: 'Since their already infamous hang out, Bieber has tried to reach out to Kerr several times but she didn't entertain his attempts at maintaining steady contact - they texted a bit here and there.

''He was very persistent.'

It's also reported that Justin used to boast about his encounter with Miranda. A source told New York Daily News: 'Bieber would brag about it while he was in the studio.'

The source - who described their behaviour at the party following the 2012 show as 'flirty' - also revealed that the model and her estranged husband have kept in contact since he and Justin got physical in Ibiza on Tuesday night.

Despite Miranda reportedly being the reason for the fisticuffs, the 37-year-old actor has remained in contact with his estranged wife - the couple separated around nine months after the alleged flirtatious night with Justin.

The former couple did not, however, want to discuss the club fight.

The insider told E!: 'Kerr speaks to Bloom every day because of their son [Flynn].

'They did speak since the incident between Bieber and Bloom but did not talk about it as it's just all about their son. Kerr wants all of this to blow over. She is in Europe now just trying to relax with her son.'

The 31-year-old is trying to stay away from the public eye while the fight remains news - taking a family holiday.

Another source told E! : '[Miranda] is in Spain and Europe now and is vacationing with the family and relaxing. Miranda wants all of this behind her and she just wants to move on from this and go about her life. She is very embarrassed about everything that has gone on.'

Meanwhile, it seems Justin is also persistent, not just when it comes to courting models but, when it comes to driving their still married, but separated, partners nuts.

Since The Pirates Of The Caribbean star backhanded him, the singer has got his own back via social media.

Instead of leaving it all alone, Justin first posted a bikini picture of Miranda before posting another picture on Instagram that looked like Orlando was crying.

He is also being persistent with his love of partying with Victoria Secret models, as has been spotted enjoying the company of Australian Shanina Shaik aboard his yacht this week.

The actor has been partying with Australian socialite Erica Baxter aboard her ex-husband media mogul James Packer's yacht while in Spain.

James has been romantically linked with Miranda recently, despite all four being friends while James was still married to Erica and Orlando with Miranda.
