Out with a Bang-erz! Daredevil Miley Cyrus ends her tour stint in New York City by posting hilarious skydive snap on Instagram

To call Miley Cyrus 'daring' would be doing her an injustice.

Following the epic New York stop on her Bangerz tour, the singer took to Instagram to show off one of her most fearless stunts to date, posting a picture of her skydiving just outside Los Angeles.

Indulging in a selfie - even at 30,000 feet - is something the 'We Can't Stop' singer can never resist as she performed her notorious tongue-out pose for the camera.

Wearing her platinum pixie crop in her trademark two-horns high-head bunches, the daredevil star posed outside the plane in a blue boiler suit, which she posted with the hashtag 'throwbackf**kingmonday,' which she's been championing this month.

The impulsive singer took the challenge to jump out of a plane after saying it was something she'd always wanted to do, and low and behold, the next day she was doing it.

After the stunt, she told Rolling Stones magazine: 'I am happy, I am finally a bird, like I always wanted to be. This is amazing, beautiful and I am so happy.'

Miley's high octaine snap marks the end of her brief stint in New York City, where she was supported by Lily Allen, as she packs up for Phillidelphia to continue the Bangerz world tour.

She added to the profanities on her Twitter newsfeed by telling her 18.3 million followers that she was 'excited for f**king Philly' where she will perform on Monday night.

Brit singer Lily has been trying her hardest to reflect Miley Cyrus' on-stage debauchery with her show costumes, suffering an unfortunate nipple slip on their first night in the city.

In keeping with her trademark daring style, on Miley's last night in the capital the singer was seen leaving her Manhattan hotel wearing her hair in a rainbow up-do.

She wore long colourful braids to frame her face as she matched a beaded hairband that she wore atop her head in true Miley fashion.

Cyrus will continue to tour her home territory with 'Bangerz' until the end of August, when it leaves the states for Puerto Rico.
