A model with an appetite! Cara Delevingne grabs a late-night take away... after sharing yet another ode to bacon video on Twitter

By Heather Waugh

She's never been shy about her love of food - much unlike most high-fashion models.

And Cara Delevingne - who revealed her passion for bacon in a Vogue interview last year - indulged in some late night snacking on Monday when she was spotted grabbing a take away meal in her home town of London.

The 21-year-old model made her way home with brown bag in hand, chatting happily on the phone as she strolled down the street.

Clad in a pair of bright red sweatpants with lip print and a beige sweater, the star looked super comfy for her night in.

On her feet were some equally casual blue high tops and she scraped her blonde locks into a tight ponytail.

Cara also showed off her flawless complexion with zero make-up - perfect for her low-key evening.

Earlier the same day the quirky aspiring actress shared a video on her Twitter showing her tucking into a large bacon sandwich with tomato ketchup.

The blonde looked wide-eyed as she held a rasher of the meaty treat to the camera looking just a step away from drooling.

She captioned the silly clip simply 'Bacon!!!!'.

Meanwhile, Cara is still on her mission to become a serious actress and is set to appear onscreen in a steamy romp with Matthew Morrison of Glee in upcoming movie Tulip Fever.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: ‘The scene was the first time Cara has had to be saucy on screen and she pulled it off well.

‘If anything, it was Matthew who was the more nervous and asked for a closed set so all the crew couldn’t watch’.

The insider added that Cara proved she could act just as well as other professionals and seemed unfazed about having to ‘kiss and roll around’ with her co-star.

Tulip Fever is a 17th century romance in which an artist falls for a married young woman while he's commissioned to paint her portrait.

The two then invest in the risky tulip market in hopes to build a future together.

Cara will be working with an impressive cast which includes Dane Dehaan, Dame Judi Dench, Tom Hollander and Zach Galafianakis.

Cara previously filmed an artistic sex scene with Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the 2012 hit, Anna Karenina.

Speaking about her nerves during the scenes, she told Grazia Daily: ‘I was actually really nervous about the sex scenes, the intimate ones.

But Keira [Kinghtley] had her own in this film and had done it all before. She just told me to lose myself in it. Forget about me and be the character. I really took that on board.’

Tulip Fever is set for release in 2015.
