Kendra Wilkinson 'has met with lawyers to start divorce process from cheating Hank Baskett'... after five years of marriage and two children

She's ready to move on.

After Kendra Wilkinson learned her husband of five years, former football player Hank Baskett, had cheated with transsexual model Ava London, the beauty took her wedding ring off.

On Wednesday Life & Style reported the 29-year-old Playboy model is taking another step toward ending things with the 34-year-old man who fathered her two children. 'Kendra's definitely looking into divorce,' a source said. 'She's met with lawyers and is weighing her options.'

The ex-girlfriend of Hugh Hefner kicked Hank out of their Calabasas mansion in June just after news broke that he had relations with the exotic-looking London.

Since then the father has been living in a friend's condo.

But the two have to see each other all the time for hand-offs with the kids. 'They're sort of stuck together now,' the source added.

Kendra would have filed sooner, but there are a few obstacles in her way.

The children - son Hank Jr, aged four, and daughter Alijah, aged two months - give her pause because she would like a father around for them, said the source. 'Kendra doesn't want to deprive the kids,' said a source.

But there is also the issue of money.

If they split, there would be less of it because there would be two homes to provide for. Since Baskett left professional sports, the blonde bombshell has been the breadwinner. Her main income comes from her reality show Kendra On Top.

'If they split, Kendra wouldn't be in a good position,' another insider claimed.

Also dragging her down is the fact that Hank doesn't want to head to divorce court. 'He texts Kendra constantly, begging for forgiveness,' added a source.

Hank has offered couples therapy. 'She isn't buying it though,' said the insider. 'She is the type of girl that believes once a cheater, always a cheater.'

And she may be ready to move on to a new romance.

'Kendra has been telling friends she wants to meet some cute guys,' added a source. 'She's definitely looking at new prospects.'
