Political security is about the stability of our social order. It is closely allied to military security and societal security, and it specifically addresses threats to our national sovereignty and constitutional rights.
Our Military
Military security implies the capability of a nation to defend itself, and/or deter military aggression. Alternatively, military security implies the capability of a nation to enforce its policy choices by use of military force.
Our Economy
Economic security is the condition of having stable income or other resources to support a standard of living now and in the foreseeable future. It includes the broader effect of a society’s production levels and monetary support for non-working citizens.
Our Environment
Environmental security deals with environmental issues which threaten the national security of a nation. While all environmental events are not considered as threats, many transnational issues, both global and regional would affect national security.
