Aubrey Plaza got a jump on the designer creations for fall and wore it well on this balmy summer night.

The 30-year-old actress couldn't go wrong in Valentino as she hit up the Life After Beth premiere at Sundance NEXT FEST in Los Angeles on Friday.

Aubrey's floral embroidered, lace dress was bursting with vivid colours from burgundy to deep pink, to green and purple, and featured long sleeves, a high neckline and a knee-length hem.

Her dramatic eye shadows even matched the frock, which she paired with pointy beige pumps.

Aubrey's warm brown hair was softly curled under with a layering of bangs to the side, allowing glimpses of her dangling earrings.

Her smile radiated the happiness she must feel knowing her latest project has been so well received by the critics.

Life After Beth - which opens in limited release in US theatres on August 15 - has been described as a comedy with drama and horror mixed in, and revolves a young man (Dane DeHaan) and his recently deceased girlfriend (Aubrey Plaza) who returns to the world of the living looking the same but isn't quite.

Aubrey is also famous for her role as April Ludgate on Parks And Recreation.

She was among friends at this event, taking time out to pose with her Parks And Recreation co-star Chris Pratt, who donned tan jeans, a black shirt, black leather jacket and scuffed black boots to attend the event.

Rose McGowan, who was a guest at the event, opted for a billowy white dress that dropped shapeless to mid-thigh region.

Rose's smock was matched with snowy white pumps and a mustard-yellow clutch, while her raven-dark hair provided a contrast to her fair complexion.

Meanwhile, Molly Shannon exuded elegance in a halterneck black jumpsuit and strappy heels, along with a shiny bracelet and black earrings.

Anna Wood enchanted in her billowy dual-print dress and although it didn't boast many colours beyond black and white, it still caught attention.

Posing with Anna was her husband and the film's star Dane (The Place Beyond The Pines) DeHaan, who looked dapper in a silky grey suit, light dress shirt and tie.

Mae Whitman, whom movie buffs might recall as George Clooney's little girl in One Fine Day, opted for a solid black dress with short sleeves and crew neck, a simple look made rugged thanks to her high-top shoes.
