Michael Fassbender's Bono-inspired look worked so well for him on Thursday, he nearly repeated
it on Friday.

Yet, this time, the 37-year-old actor was joined by a blonde companion, as he stepped out in front
of a hotel in New York's Soho neighbourhood.

The pair were quite chummy, even giving each other a sweet embrace before parting ways.

While soaking up the sun, the scruffy-faced Inglourious Basterds star covered his eyes with rose-coloured sunglasses, seeming to take style tips from the famous U2 singer.

Meanwhile, Michael put his toned arms on display in a grey polo T-shirt which he paired with slim dark denim jeans.

And on his feet, the Irish actor donned soft grey lace-up shoes.

Meanwhile, Michael has been busy promoting his last film, Frank.

While the Oscar-nominated actor has been known for his more serious film roles in the past - such
as in 12 Years A Slave and Jane Eyre - his latest project couldn't be more different.

Michael stars in the title role of up-and-coming musician Frank in the R-rated dark comedy, directed by Lenny Abrahamson.

When Jon, played by Domhnall Gleeson, joins his band Soronprfbs, he soon realises he's in for one heck of a wild ride upon learning that the enigmatic and eccentric frontman's signature huge head disguise is not simply a gimmick but rather a full-time feature that he wears at all times.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Scoot McNairy also star in the flick, which is set for release on August 15.

The film was met with a great response when it debuted in the UK and Ireland back in May.
