Tatt's not very nice! Sarah Harding lashes out at former bandmate Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's 'ridiculous' rose tattoo

By Bella Brennan For Mailonline

Sarah Harding might have a huge phoenix tattooed on her back but she thinks former Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's rose bum tattoo is ‘ridiculous.’

The singer, who was a member of Girls Aloud alongside Cheryl for 11 years, has branded the Crazy Stupid Love hitmaker’s ink as meaningless.

Sarah told The Sun newspaper's TV magazine: ‘Oh God, it's ridiculous. My tattoo has meaning. I don't know what hers means.’

And the 32-year-old has no problems going head-to-head in the ratings war as her show Tumble, on which she is a contestant, and The X Factor, which Cheryl is a judge, compete for the Saturday night top television slot.

The blonde beauty quipped: ‘X Factor. What X Factor? Who knows if I'll tune in. Let's not talk about ITV. I'm a BBC girl these days.’

Cheryl sat for three eight-hour sessions to complete her now infamous derrière tattoo, but insisted she didn't find the pain ‘too bad.’

The newlywed said she was inspired to get the daring tatt after falling ill with malaria. 'After I had malaria I created a ‘****-it list’ because life’s too short and the tattoo was on the list,' Cheryl explained.

‘I have three tattoos, this one, one on the back of my neck and the rose. The guy that did it is a proper artist, he does oil paintings, he's unbelievably talented,’ she said at the time.

‘It took about three seven-eight hour sessions. It was fine, I didn't get it all done in the one go and he's really amazing at what he does so it wasn't too bad.’

Last year Sarah hinted at a potential falling out with her bandmates after she wasn't invited to Nicola Robert’s birthday celebrations in Amsterdam.

When quizzed about the snub she told Digital Spy: ‘No not my scene darling.’

Meanwhile on Saturday night Sarah swapped the stage for the aerial hoops and made her debut on BBC’s latest reality show Tumble, which sees 10 celebrities try their hand at gymnastics.

She performed an impressive hoop routine with her gym pro partner Leon and scored the fourth highest score of the night.
