She’s proven to be quite the doting mother – always pictured alongside her son.

And on Sunday, Selma Blair threw herself into her parental duties as she helped her three-year-old Arthur put on and tie his shoes.

He had just emerged from a bounce house at the farmer's market in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actress kneeled down and engaged her little boy in chatter as she helped him with his Nike sneakers.

The Legally Blonde star was also pictured chatting animatedly with a group of men in blue shirts, presumably while waiting for her son as he took his turn in the bounce house.

She also carried Arthur in her arms as they travelled through the market grounds.

Selma was cute and casual in a loose-fitted white top with ripped white shorts, under which she wore a bubble gum pink bikini.

She accessorized with sunglasses and a grey and white tie dyed bag, while strolling along in blue slip-on shoes.

Meanwhile, Selma’s son with ex-boyfriend Jason Bleick wore a green T-shirt and bright orange shorts.

He recently celebrated his third birthday on Friday, July 25, with his mother likely having treated him to a very special day of festivities.

Selma has completed her work in the pilot for Amazon Studios’ comedy series, Really, which follows a group of thirty-something friends living in Chicago.

She is playing Joanna, who cheats on her husband with another friend in the group - Mike.

‘Really is meant to be a sophisticated, funny, strikingly honest cable comedy for adults,’ said writer and director Jay Chandrasekhar, who is also starring.

Meanwhile, Selma has completed her work in the 2015 drama Sex, Death And Bowling.

It tells the story of two brothers who reunite after many years apart when one is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
