Kelly Bensimon flexes her toned physique in clingy workout gear while jogging with boyfriend Alejandro Lorenzo

Kelly Bensimon and her handsome beau Alejandro Lorenzo must be the fittest couple in New York City.

The 46-year-old former reality star proved that point as she and Alejandro teamed up for a heart-pumping trot through the Soho neighbourhood on Sunday.

Kelly's skimpy outfit consisted of black athletic shorts and tank top over another white shirt, and put on fabulous display those toned and tanned arms and legs.

The former model cast a smile now and then at Alejandro, who matched her look in long black shorts, a black Nike tank top, black baseball cap and black trainers.

Kelly had no trouble keeping up with her bearded fellow, who flexed his lean and muscular biceps as they jogged down the side of the street.

The pair have been dating since spring and heating up the Big Apple with their demonstrative displays of affection.

On July 31, Kelly and Lorenzo couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed dinner at Felix with friends.

The pair kissed and hugged throughout the meal, and Kelly beamed a huge smile when Lorenzo graciously poured a bottled drink into her glass.

Later on Sunday, Kelly was spotted taking her other love - her dog Fluffy - for a walk.

Kelly had by then changed into a pair of denim cut-offs that once again showed off her lean limbs along with a white, loosely fitted blouse and sandals.

Hoop earrings added a Bohemian touch to the casual ensemble and on her wrist was an elegant watch.

Kelly began her career as a model in NYC, appearing in magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan and Harper's Bazaar, and was once the face of cosmetics company Clarins.

Besides a famous stint on Real Housewives Of New York City, Kelly has written several books on subjects from fashion style to bikinis, and formerly had a regular column in Page Six.

The mother-of-two - who divorced Gilles Bensimon in 2007 after a 10-year marriage - is also a fitness enthusiast who never skips a day without a strenuous workout.
