Nancy Dell'Olio glams up for party at department store to celebrate launch of her new show for Edinburgh Fringe
She's best known as a lawyer and one-time girlfriend of footballer manager, Sven Goren Eriksson, but Nancy Dell'Olio is now the star of a one-woman show called Rainbows From Diamonds.
Taking her 2008 book My Beautiful Game to the stage in a bid to show the public the real her, the 52-year-old will be performing her story at the Edinburgh Fringe.
The feisty brunette arrived at the Harvey Nichols store in Edinburgh on Monday evening to celebrate and reclined against the balcony while performing a series of glamorous poses for photographers.

She dressed to kill in a black tight midi dress which had mesh sleeves and embellished cuffs, teaming the number with a pair of sky-high leopard print heels by Christian Louboutin.
Nancy recently told The Scotsman that the plan is to use Edinburgh as a springboard for talking the show elsewhere and also to forge links to help her develop her TV talk-show idea.
She told the paper: 'People know something about me already probably, but there are so many
sides. They don’t know the side to me that will not sell papers.

'They don’t show who you really are. I do hope people will get to know me through the show. People say I’m brave to do it. Yes, I’m brave.'
She also told the Independent of her show which has been billed as a lesson in 'survival through glamour': 'My show at the Edinburgh Fringe is a chance for people to
get close to me.
'The chance to be direct is appealing because there is
always an interpreter between me and whoever is reading what is written
about me.

'There are things in the show that people will be surprised by. Some are quite dramatic, some sad, some things will make them laugh. Actually, I think I'm quite funny.'
She also told the Daily Express: 'This is the right process to come to Edinburgh to get investors to develop this idea. 'I’d like to take the format to a TV chat show with a live audience. British television needs me.'
