She certainly likes to make an entrance - and Lady Gaga didn't disappoint when she arrived at Narita International Airport in Japan on Tuesday.

The Bad Romance singer was greeted by a fan frenzy as she rocked up in a semi-sheer body stocking - and very little else.

Giving the illusion of being nearly naked, she raised eyebrows amongst both her 'Little Monsters' and airport staff.

The New York-born star wore the bejeweled outfit as she disembarked the plane and was guided through the arrivals terminal by two bodyguards.

Despite wearing huge platform boots and an 'up do' of dreadlocks, she was still shorter than them both.

The body-stocking was emblazoned with a variation of shell details, including two strategically-placed ones of her chest. It also featured starfish and seaweed designs.

Together with nude make-up, the star appeared to give the illusion of being almost nude - only protecting her modesty with a few jewels.

Meanwhile, she carried a cuddly dog toy and held an Art Pop hand fan. The Monster hit-maker was clearly still mourning the temporary presence of her beloved pooch, Asia.

She tweeted a week ago: 'They won't let Asia into Asia. Some quarantine rules. I don't know what I'm going to do without my baby girl in Tokyo. I had so many plans!'

Clearly delighted to be in Asia, she took to Twitter again recently to say: 'ARTPOP is a bit success in Japan, and I'm so happy to be here with them to celebrate.'

A short time later she added: 'Tokyo , my favorite place. Aphrodite took a hit of love and went to a disco in the future.'

Gaga is set to play two nights at the Chiba Marine Stadium in Tokyo on August 13 and 14 before heading to Seoul to perform at the Olympic Stadium on August 16.
