Her stint on tour with Miley Cyrus has come to a sad end, as Lily Allen was spotted looking rather miserable and without her wedding band.

The British star - who has been married to builder Sam Cooper since 2011 - was seen in the company of her ex-boyfriend and long-term pal Seb Chew minus her rings, in St. Louis, Missouri.

A few days earlier in Nashville, Lily - wearing her wedding band and engagement ring - looked upset as she took a moment to herself while her children’s nanny looked after her daughters Ethel and Marnie.

Both situations saw the singer spending a lot of time on her phone and smoking during her final days on the Bangerz tour as Miley Cyrus’s support act.

MailOnline have contacted Lily’s representatives who have declined to comment.

No doubt her recent string of performances have taken its toll on the singer, who had previously completed ten gigs in two weeks in various countries.

The singer has also been displaying a rather slimmer frame, having lost 42lbs since she returned to the music scene, and puts it down to a rather unhealthy diet of eating mainly packets of crisps rather than full meals.

'I just eat a lot of crisps, I'm not really eating a lot of proper meals [while on tour],' Lily told Australian 2Day FM Breakfast hosts Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts.

It seems her husband Sam has not joined Lily on this ten-date tour in the U.S., but in recent interviews the singer has had nothing but positive words to say about him.

In June, Lily told an Australian TV show: ‘I still don’t feel worthy of my husband. He’s an amazing person. I am very lucky to even have contact with someone like that never mind be married to them and have children.’

She also filmed her latest music video at Glastonbury festival, where she first met Sam five years ago, because the song As Long As I’ve Got You is reflective of her happiness in her marriage.

‘It’s a song about my contentment about my relationship with my husband and the fact that I’ve got children,’ she told Richard Wilkins on Channel 9’s Today show.
