An assistant, worried when Williams couldn't be roused at 11.45am, broke into the bedroom. Williams was found clothed, in a seated position with a belt around his neck. He had several superficial cuts on the inside of his left wrist. A pocket knife with what appeared to be dried blood was discovered nearby.

Attackers cut off two of the doctor's fingers and hacked at her ovaries and womb in a revenge attack after she left work at a hospital in the city of Zamora in Mexico. Police are looking for two men who they said attacked a 72-year-old man as he walked home from a deli in New York's West Village. The suspect was caught on a surveillance camera waiting on the sidewalk on Jane Street near West Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday while the victim was walking up the street.

Nicolas Holzer (main) was arrested without incident at the home he shared with his parents and two sons in Goleta, California, following the quadruple homicide on Monday night. He allegedly killed his two sons - aged 10 and 13 - while they slept, as well his 73-year-old father and 74-year-old mother. Police say he believed the murders would 'fulfill his destiny'. All four are believed to have been stabbed and were dead when police arrived at the bloody scene about 11pm.

The driver- who has not been identified - told the officer he was actually assisting police, because other drivers slowed down when they saw his car, believing it was real. He has been charged with impersonating police.
