Paris is highly regarded across the world as the city for lovers.

But showing that London might be about to take the title as the most romantic capital, Gemma Arterton and boyfriend Franklin Ohanessi put on an amorous display in Chelsea last Saturday.

Walking through the streets side by side, the pair only had eyes for one another as they made their way to lunch on Kings Road.

As production for her new film, A Hundred Streets, broke for lunch, Gemma, 28, got a nice surprise when her French beau came to meet her to grab a bite to eat.

Keen to show her man off to the city, Arterton wrapped her arm around his waist as he rested his on her shoulder as they journeyed along.

Happy to be in each other's company, the pair were seen laughing and smiling as they picked out a place to dine and the Byzantium actress was also pictured placing a tender kiss on Franklin's cheek.

Dressed causal, Gemma wore a pastel yellow shirt with black trousers and a cropped navy jacket.

Carrying a leather brown handbag, fresh faced Arterton finished her ensemble with a pair of strapped sandals as she held a bottle of water.

The ever dapper Ohanessi teamed a grey blazer with a blue shirt, slightly faded jeans and brown shoes as he focused his attention solely on Gemma.

Gemma, previously married to Stefano Catelli who she divorced from in 2013, confirmed the new romance to Daily Mail columnist Sebastian Shakespeare.

She said: ‘Franklin doesn’t like or really want to be in the limelight, but yes, we are together,’

Adding: ‘We met when I was filming The Voices and hit it off. We speak in French and I regularly commute to Paris to be with him.’
