Kirsten Dunst knows precisely how to dress to showcase her favourite asset – her long and slender legs.

The actress was seen shopping in a very short denim dress on Wednesday, raising temperatures in Los Angeles along with her hemline.

The summery frock left all of Kirsten’s slim pins on display as she stepped out of the Isabel Marant store after some retail therapy on the trendy Melrose Avenue.

Kirsten also sported black T-strap flat sandals and carried a small white clutch bag, along with two bags from the store, suggesting she found plenty to her liking.

The Spiderman star had dark glasses covering her make-up free face and her platinum blonde locks were worn loose in natural waves.

The day before Kirsten had also been showing off her legs, this time for a workout.

She was spotted during a hike in the Hollywood Hills, wearing a pair of tiny black and white running shorts.

Kirsten was also clad in a grey Rodarte T-shirt and pink trainers, and wore her hair in a plait.

The 32-year-old protected her porcelain skin from the sun with a baseball cap and sunglasses, and had been listening to music through headphones during the exercise session.

On the go: The 32-year-old also went for lunch with a pal during the outing - and took home a box of leftovers

She looked a little somber and unsurprisingly so as her hike came the day after news of the death of her Jumanji co-star Robin Williams broke.

Kirsten has been dating her On The Road co-star Garrett Hedlund for two years and she said in a recent interview that she hopes to have her first child next year.

The actress told the September issue of Red magazine: 'I'm in baby mode because two of my really good friends are pregnant right now.

'One of them is pretty chilled and the other's like, 'I can't wait to have a glass of wine!' I love it though. We've already picked her girl's name, it's done! I think 33 is a good age to have your first baby.'

The blonde beauty admits she doesn't currently have any plans to get married or pregnant, but feels under pressure from her mother.

She said: 'You don't know what's going to happen in the next 10 years.

'But I get asked that question a lot because I'm in my thirties and it's like: time to get married and have babies, right? That's the vibe. Well, I already have a mother to ask those questions, so nobody else needs to!'
