'This isn't the 'hood, it's the Hamptons!' Real Housewives Of NYC fall out once again... appearing on Watch What Happens Live

By Heather Waugh for MailOnline

They are the well-to-do housewives who pride themselves on their standing among New York’s social elite.

But The Real Housewives Of New York City plunged into a bizarre display of swearing and some accusations of 'ghetto' behaviour during the third and final part of the reality show's reunion and recap.

And host Andy Cohen could not hide his amusement as he watched on incredulously as the ladies repeatedly swore while recalling events from the previous season.

He looked particularly stunned as Aviva Drescher kept saying: 'Motherf***ing f***ing f***er!'

All the housewives were even more stunned when Aviva took aim at Heather Thomson for her attack on her during the season - and accusing her of acting below her social level.

'This isn’t the 'hood, this is the Hamptons!' she teased Heather over her language.

'Heather, I’m going to out you here - you were not brought up in the ghetto, girl! Holler!'

As the other ladies looked both amazed and amused, Aviva continued: 'You act like a gang member - I’m not saying any color, any race, I’m saying you act like a gangster!'

Heather - once the design director of Sean Diddy Combs’ Sean John fashion label - took offense at Aviva’s claims, insisting it was an attack on her having come from a smaller town and being less well-off than the others in childhood.

'What are you talking about, the ghetto?' she asked her in response. 'It’s a stereotype that I take offense to.'

She added: 'Are you crazy? It’s rude and insulting and obnoxious. It’s such a stereotype, it’s insulting.'

Meanwhile, Aviva also insisted on the reunion show that when she compared Sonja Morgan to Anna Nicole Smith she merely meant it as a compliment.

While the other ladies accused her of meaning it as a clear reference to her drinking, Aviva insisted she meant it because the late star was 'stunning, funny, and vivacious, and I would compare Sonja to that.'

'And she was married to an older man,' she added.

But Carole Radziwill, for one, merely mocked her explanation. 'You were comparing her because she died of alcoholism,' she insisted.

But Sonja insisted she held no ill will against Aviva’s name calling - which also included calling her white trash - inadvertently raising a laugh from everyone else while doing so.

'I’m able to forgive her because I’m a Christian and I know what it means to forgive people,' she said, leaving the other housewives laughing and Andy Cohen also unable to hide his own amusement.

'That's really nice - laugh at being a Christian,' Sonja complained. 'The Bible Belt’s going to love that.'

Aviva had her own turn to be hurt by words, however, when Ramona Singer asked her why she 'turns on people' in an undiplomatic way.

'You know, there is a side of you that’s so nice - and, let’s face it, there is a side of you that’s pretty vile,' she told her.

After Aviva told her she 'can’t have a conversation with somebody that calls me vile', Ramona tried to back-track - but soon gave up trying to defend her words.

Kristen Taekman was more honest when asked if she meant it as a compliment when she called Ramona and Sonja her 'crazy drunk aunts'.

'It was a dig,' Kristen admitted. 'I can own it.'

Both women said they were not offended, with Ramona insisting: 'We’re not crazy, we’re not drunk and we’re not her aunts - we’re her contemporaries. So whatever.'

Ramona insisted the younger housewife was just jealous at the special bond Ramona and Sonja have, which Andy nicknamed 'Ramonja'.

'We have a special bond, a special chemistry, a friendship, and we’ll have it forever. We’ll go the grave with it,' Ramona said.

Turning to her friend she told her: 'You’re going to be buried next to me.'

The women also discuss the most attention-grabbing moment of the season - when Aviva threw her prosthetic leg across a restaurant table during a fight.

When she insisted it was a spur of the moment act, the others jeered her.

'Oh that’s bulls**t!' Kristen laughed, while Carole also smiled as she said: 'B.S. That’s B.S.'

'We’re all gonna call bulls**t,' Heather told her. 'It was planned. I totally knew that she was gonna do it.'

LuAnn de Lesseps, author of the Class With The Countess book about 'living with elegance and flair', was asked about the etiquette of Aviva’s dramatic action - and whether the posh NYC restaurant should have banned her.

'You can’t pay for that kind of drama in your restaurant,' LuAnn insisted. 'People are gonna come just because they heard that’s where the leg was on the table.'
