She's living a bi-continental lifestyle these days.

And after enjoying some quality time with husband Stephen Belafonte last week, Mel B was back on US soil to film the next installment of talent show America's Got Talent.

The 39-year-old star looked stylish as she left her New York hotel on Tuesday in a military-inspired ensemble.

The former pop star, who rose to fame as Scary Spice, wore a figure-hugging grey tank top showing just a hint of cleavage and teamed it with green cargo trousers.

For a stylish and leggier look, she tucked the pants into some chic suede grey ankle boots with gold zip detail.

Adding a touch of bling she wore a chunky gold wristwatch and diamond stud earrings. Hiding any sign of jet lag, the star covered her eyes in a large pair of sunglasses.

Later on Tuesday Mel asked her Instagram followers to help out with a wardrobe choice for the day's filming of America's Got Talent.

The former Spice Girl is on the judging panel alongside Heidi Klum, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel.

When she'd made her outfit choice she took to Instagram again to show her fans which garment she'd opted for, posing in a vibrant red Helmut Lang dress.

She captioned it: 'I opted for the @helmutlang and 2 bangles earrings and I ring from @jfisherjewelry here we go live at radio city music hall'

In another snap she gave fans a sneak peek from the NBC set, standing near Heidi and looking irritatedly at comedian Howie, saying: 'Just sit down Howie and stop annoying me arrrhhh we are live so stop NOW'

Last week, the mother-of-four was labelled rude when she refused to accept a kiss from contestants on the X Factor.

According to The Mirror, she was booed after a boy band member tried to kiss her after getting through to the next round of the contest.

In response, the audience at the Wembley Arena auditions booed loudly and one fan said: 'She has turned into a right diva.

'She also wasn’t holding back on her negative comments to the acts, she is turning into a female version of Simon Cowell.'

Not that she seemed too bothered - the Leeds-born star later took to Twitter to say: 'Wow can't wait Wow can't wait for you lot to see this years xfactor been filming ALL day and it just got real…'
