Red carpet royals! Crown Prince Frederik and his blushing Princess Mary mark the end of their Greenland tour by ditching the kids and kicking up their heels
As their royal tour of Greenland came to a close, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark managed to get in some time without their four children.
Arriving for the official dinner at the Hotel Hans Egede in Greenland's capital, Nuuk, on Thursday, the mother and father-of-four looked more in love than ever as they walked hand-in-hand into the event.
The royal couple were spotted with just one day left of their August 1 to 8 tour, which saw them take The Royal Yacht Dannebrog around the south and west of the country.

Date night: As their royal tour of Greenland came to a close, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark have managed to get in some time without the kids at the official dinner at Hotel Hans Egede in Greenland's capital, Nuuk
Not with the glamorous royals however were their four children, Prince Christian, eight, Prince Vincent, three, Princess Isabella, seven, and Vincent's twin Princess Josephine who have traveled as a family every step of the way.
Ditching their picture perfect youngsters for a night out on their own, the Australian-born Princess and her future King looked regal as they walked a red carpet ahead of the special function.
Mary looked every bit the classic beauty, choosing a lace gown in a pale shade of dusky rose cinched in at the waist with a metallic belt.
Fending off the cool summer air, she wrapped a brown, knitted a shawl around her bare shoulders and held on tight to her doting husband's hand.

Beautiful! The pair were all smiles for photographers as they arrived at the dinner and continued to beam as they moved inside for the festivities
Keeping her beauty look simple, Mary's chocolate hair was blow-dried naturally and pinned back behind her ears while her makeup was fresh and radiant.
Frederik looked less formal in charcoal trousers and matching leather shoes, teamed with a loose-fitting white shirt.
Missing buttons, the Prince adorned it's blank canvas with an array of royal medallions and a large crucifix handing from a short chain around his neck.
