Door/DropFiles

While programming internal BBS door conversion routines for Citadel, I'd often found myself wanting a central location for door/dropfile descriptions. I've wasted many hours downloading and looking through many BBS programs hoping to find descriptions, often finding that the rare few that are there are incomplete or superseded. (And even these days, many Internet sites that might have this info require a password for some reason.)

So I've designed this site as a central repository for programmers to know what the latest formats are, both for creating and reading the formats. I also hope that it can be a call to action for people with formats not listed here to send them over for everyone's benefit.

    If you can add to my present documentation (other formats, more or corrected explanations), please leave me mail. Other formats can be directly sent (please include references/citations and let me know if you want credit for the submission). If you want an explanation change, please include:
    1. The name of the dropfile.
    2. The explanation as it currently stands (so I can find it).
    3. The explanation as it should read.
